Taxi!!! at DKNY

Distracting at first, the DKNY show was one of my favorites to watch. Loved the “real NYC” background even with the “snoopies” at the back of the iconic yellow cab, it was very New York!

The Collection was very minimal (my cup of tea these days), I own a couple of leather DKNY jackets and they are always a perfect fit and I can’t wait to get my hands on the new collection. A lot of people would disagree with me but there’s no other color like Black! The absence of color in an outfit is very futuristic and without exaggerating in detailing the collection turns into a must have for the next fall/winter season.

A layered Rag & Bone

WHO'S BEHIND IT: Marcus Wainwright & David Neville
WHERE IT BEGAN: Kentucky
WHAT PRINCIPLES:  Quality, Craftsmanship & Detail

Since 2004 Rag & Bone has accomplished rapidly a successful image among  casual fashion lovers, HOW they did it? with a clear VISION of what they wanted to create: CLOTHES WE WANT TO WEAR!
With several nominations and awards under their sleeve, Marcus and David were finally named Menswear Designers of the Year by the CFDA in 2010.
If you haven't noticed, Fashion Week New York is on and Rag & Bone just presented its collection which, by they way... I completely loved!!! I have always enjoyed layering and this was the perfect example of how to do it glamorously with blanket coats, sweaters, jackets...belts... This brand is getting better and better.
